Hello fellow plant lovers! I am happy to announce that we have dates for the upcoming classes! The classes will meet once a month on Saturday 10-4pm. We will also have a once a month Tea Thyme that will be on a Tuesday evening 5-8pm. This will be time to come together and chat, make medicine, make crafts & just generally build community! Tea Thyme is free and open to everyone.

Community Herbalism level 1 

This 6-month program will provide a beginning foundation of community herbalism.  This class is designed to provide a general knowledge of herbal medicine making techniques so you can start making your own infusions, decoctions, infused oils, salves, tinctures, etc.  We will discuss common medicinal plants that are easy to grow or harvest locally. We will also discuss using our food as medicine and using common kitchen herbs/ foods to help support the body in its health & healing.

We will also discuss other natural remedies including flower essences & essential oils.

The investment for this program is $1050 with a deposit of $150 due upon registration and $900 due at start of class. Monthly payment plans available if needed.

Community Herbalism level 2

This 6-month program is for those who have completed level 1 and are interested in going deeper into herbalism. We will discuss the art of assessment & formulation. We will discuss formulating for specific illnesses as well as for specific people. We will use the foundational knowledge from the first course to grow our understanding & application of the herbal actions.

We will also go deeper into understanding the body systems and how they function.
